  • Condition: Eight canes are "as found" and are wonderful in their original state as used in their last parade! Paint is "time worn" and flaky. Four are without flags and four have 50 star American flags. The 50 star flags look to be replacements for old and torn '48 ones. The flags are old and made of a muslin bunting fabric.

    Description

    Eight, wonderful, patriotic parade canes--four with 50 star American flags and four without any flag.  All eight have original red, white, and blue paint.  The canes most likely had 48 star flags but were updated to 50 stars with the addition of Hawaii and Alaska in 1959.  The flags are made of cotton muslin bunting and date to the very late 1950's or early 60's.  The paint shows wear and is "flaky" and the flags are attached with tacks.  Canes measure about 36" in height.
    What a wonderful addition to a patriotic parade or your Uncle Sam apparel.  You will have enough flags for your entire family and they are just a piece.
