Find another one like it... carved from an extremely heavy bone, the creature of this handle has the features of a nightmare. Resembling a dragon, it has a tooth filled open mouth with an extended curling tongue. It is covered in scales with amazing detail work throughout. Brought from England years ago, I assume that's where it was made. I don't believe it was ever used, as the ebony shaft carries no signs of use or damage. The unusual 1.5" cream colored bone ferrule is nearly spotless. This is the heaviest 32" cane I've ever seen at 12 ounces, and was surely made as a special order. It is very sturdy, and could support a lot of weight, but deserves to spend another century sitting in splendid isolation. My other canes have always moved away from it through the years. For the advanced collector...
